The new Hobbywing convertable F7 flight controller is equipped with STM32F722 MCU which has powerful computing ability and fast running speed, and high sensitivity ICM20602 six-axis motion sensor. It can perfectly support bidirectional D-Shot digital throttle communication. The integrated OSD chip can adjust and set each OSD parameters in FC parameter adjustment software and radio, which is simple and convenient. On-board large capacity Flash memory chip can record and store more flight logs, which is convenient for users to debug aircraft based on flight data.

MPU6500 version needs Board Orientation set to CW0

"Good flight controller, been running them on and off for years on my race drones. Be aware the MPU6500 Gyro version needs the gyro orientation set to CW 0 under the board and sensor alignment. This isn't documented anywhere I was able to find and had to contact Pyrodrone who got in touch with Hobbywing who informed them that since Betaflight defaults to CW 90 you have to make the change manually."

"This FC is HDZERO friendly. Practically PnP. Works with 30x30 mounting or snip off the 30x30 mounting holes and use the 20x20 mounting holes. Comes with all necessary gummies and wire harnesses."

Possible electrical noise issue

"This seems like a high quality FC at a reasonable price, but I potentially had some noise issues with it. I used it with a HobbyWing ESC, and had electrical noise issues that were not resolved by any amount of capacitance. I say "potentially" because I don't truly know if the noise source was the ESC or FC."

"These work descent but certainly arent the best. The price is good so thats why i like them. Have purchased about 6 so far with no major issues. Liked my matek f722 minis more but they are no longer made it seems."
