- Warranties are manufacturer-based, and all decisions regarding claims are at the manufacturer's final discretion.
2. Manufacturer Warranty Terms
- Manufacturer's Role: Pyrodrone acts as a facilitator between the customer and the manufacturer during the warranty process. Pyrodrone does not make final decisions regarding warranty claims; all claims are processed by the manufacturer directly.
- Inspection and Troubleshooting: Before declaring a product defective, manufacturers may require extensive troubleshooting to ensure that no user-related errors are contributing to the issue. Only clear and obvious manufacturer defects may bypass this step, subject to the discretion of Pyrodrone and the manufacturer.
3. Warranty Process
- Procedure: To begin a warranty claim, customers must follow the standard procedure as outlined by the manufacturer. Pyrodrone cannot grant any exceptions or bypass the manufacturer’s investigation process.
- No Warranty Returns: Warranty-related returns are not accepted. All cases must be approved by the manufacturer for a replacement or defect before moving forward.
4. Product-Specific Resolutions
- Replacement Parts: In certain cases, manufacturers may opt to replace only part of an item rather than the entire product. For example, if a video transmitter (VTX) is defective on a drone, only the VTX may be replaced.
- Repairs: Some manufacturers offer free repair services as part of their warranty agreement, while others do not. If a customer cannot perform the repair, Pyrodrone will assist in coordinating this service where applicable.
- Full Product Replacement: In cases where the manufacturer opts to replace the entire item instead of a part, customers should be aware that this may result in longer warranty resolution times.
5. Warranty Claims Voided by User Error
- User Responsibility: If the manufacturer’s technical experts determine that the issue was caused by user error (e.g., misuse, improper installation), the warranty claim will be voided.
6. Pyrodrone’s Role
- Middleman: Pyrodrone facilitates the warranty process but does not make decisions regarding warranty outcomes. While we do not control the manufacturer's process, we will do our best to assist you and ensure the claim is handled smoothly.
- Special Inspection Cases: In rare circumstances, Pyrodrone may choose to inspect your item directly, but this is at the sole discretion of Pyrodrone’s management team. This exception may be granted based on the nature of the case and after consultation with the manufacturer.
7. Resolution Timeframes
- Standard Timeline: Most warranty claims are resolved within 30 days, but some cases may take longer due to complications or manufacturer delays. In these instances, the process may take up to 45-60 days to reach a resolution.
8. Proof of Purchase
- Requirements: All warranty claims must be accompanied by proof of purchase from Pyrodrone. Additionally, manufacturers may request further documentation such as images or videos to support the investigation of the issue.
9. Customer Satisfaction
- Although Pyrodrone does not make warranty decisions, we are committed to ensuring your claim is handled to your satisfaction. We will work closely with the manufacturer on your behalf to provide updates and assist in resolving your claim.
