This collaboration between VAS & Ethix has lead to the cross pollination of the original small form factor Crosshair, combined that with the increased Gain, Axial Ratio, & Flight beam width of the CrossHair extreme.
This antenna was custom design with purpose keeping the form factor small and portable yet increasing over all performance.
As goggle module diversity became More and more prevalent having a directional antenna became a necessity. Many high preforming antennas on the market were just too large to adequately pack into your goggle case.
